Improved Beam profile & Divergence
High-power blue, green, and red lasers typically have significantly higher beam divergence than lower-power models. We address this with FAC (Fast-Axis Collimation) lenses, which dramatically reduce divergence—even without a beam expander—resulting in a more rounded and cleaner beam profile.
The beam spot becomes a fine, near-square dot with the FAC lens, while lasers without it often produce an unsatisfying long line. Many customers previously complained about the non-round dot—this issue is now fully resolved!
Recommended Duty Cycle:
For optimal lifetime and performance, limit continuous use to one minute on, followed by one minute off to allow full cooling. This prevents overheating in such an extreme-power device.

How to Power the Laser On
The Striker is powered by two unprotected 26650 lithium-ion batteries. Insert the batteries with the positive terminal first, screw on the base cap, and press the power button to operate.
Single-Operation Mode
In Single-Operation mode, the laser runs at full power only. It does not work with the control app or Bluetooth.
Electronic Safety Lock & Multi operation mode
All advanced features and safety locks are accessible via the mobile app!
Adjustable Focus
The Striker includes fully adjustable focus. Simply twist the attack head (front lens assembly) at the top of the laser to fine-tune the beam.
Battery Protection
Our lasers include multiple safeguards for both the device and batteries: over-discharge protection, over-charge protection, and reverse polarity protection.

I ordered this beast around Jan 15 and Francis was quick to let me know that they wouldn't start working on it until Feb 1st because of Chinese New Year. I figured then it would come around Feb 14 because it takes time to build and ship. You can only imagine my surprise then when it came February 2nd without any warning at my doorstep, ready for lazing! The Machining on this laser is nothing like I've seen with cheap copies, and it's something you'll only ever understand once you have in your hands. It's really heavy, in a good way, and feels very smooth and well crafted. It has a buttery smooth focusing feature and a protective cover on the lens. The brass ring around the middle is a beautiful touch, I never liked the laser warning stickers so this was a pleasent substitute. The beam divergence isn't good, this was expected for such power, that's why I got the beam expander. Turning it on in the middle of the night for the first time can only be described as the closest thing to a lightsaber I'll ever see in real life. SAFETY GOGGLES IS A MUST, IT WILL MELT YOUR EYES OUT FASTER THAN YOU CAN REACT! The beam is clean and precise, I melted a dvd case in a few seconds into nothing but a pile of molten plastic. This is as badass as it is terrifying! I will update this review as needed, I'll try and get good night shots later on when I get time, but Sanwu has earned a loyal customer, and time will tell how this laser will age. Thanks again Sanwu!

( In the beginning, I started buying some lasers from (Not Good) Zeus Lasers, but I really regretted it. ) Then I found Sanwu and realized what real hard lasers are like. There is no better designer than Sanwu, the grips themselves are much better in real life than in the pictures. I also got the strongest green one, which I have the 1.2w version of the poor quality Chinese Zeus Lasers (THOR), and I can tell by sight that the Sanwu green laser is 50% stronger. There is nowhere else brighter than this! I can only recommend them all!

I was a little skeptical on the claimed 7 watt power but when I opened the package I was shocked on the weight. Just the weight alone you can tell the quality of this laser. I made the mistake of not getting the batteries with this laser. They are no early to find and quite expensive but once I got the batteries in and turned on this laser I was completely blown away! Holy cow I can not believe they were able to get that much power out of hand held laser. It is so powerful it's very difficult to even look at the beam without laser glasses. Spending over $400 on a laser was a tough decision but once I got the device I realized it was worth every penny. If you're into lasers like I am this is the Holy Grail of hand held laser and one that you must have in your collection.

Took over 6 weeks. I ordered it on Sept 11 and received it on Oct 27!! After 5 wks (gave them a break because of covid) I email them and with a few emails they confirmed they had a hiccup in their Orders Process and thought it had been sent (obvious as no tracking number was sent to me). They were quick to send my package (had a few extra items too). I had an issue with FedEx as the package sat in Memphis for 2 days and without being scanned for over a day. I had to phone FedEx to raise an issue report and they but out a tracker on it. The Canadian Customs unwrapped all the parts and disassembled everything and throw everything back into the box, unwrapped and unprotected in pieces. I understand the need for inspection, but come on guys.. reassemble and rewrap to protect the parts and lenses. I finally got my package but the batteries were sent by a 3rd party. Due to the " " cap design it would not connect to the bottom of the other battery. I had to insert a copper wire in between before I could operate the laser. ughhhhh. The laser is awesome though.. It lives up to the reviews. The burn power is unbelievable and the beam at night is very bright. I've not confirmed its distance but its greater than 3 KM. (I can spot it off a billboard that I know the location of. I'm on the 15 floor of apartment and use a 15X binoculars for spotting, I need to find a new target that is safe). The only negative about the laser is the button at the bottom. It tips to the side when pushed in and it's hard to know the half way point to change function and not turn it off (many times I turned it off instead of changing modes... guess it's a feely thing). I would recommend that if you have not got your tracking number after 2 weeks that you contact them ASAP for the status of your order to avoid what happened to me.

I received my order yesterday. I placed my order on October 1st and it was in my hand October 15th . I'm blown away by the power it has . It's got good weight and great burning power. I don t do this!! ( write reviews) but in this case., great craftsmanship, quality build. Yes, it costs a bit, but oh so worthwhile!! especially comparing to home-bake offerings. Truly fun watching smoke come from trash a few feet away after only a few seconds. Get the beam expander, well worth it. It s hard for me to describe the fun. Anyway , well done SanWu!!!!

I suggest that to actually get the 7.5w diode because since the lenses are not 95% =. This will lead to a lower output power that advertised (absolutely not their fault). Just saying. Feel free to correct me.

First I want to say that I ran into the same issue as Ben, but unlike Ben I am not a total idiot and when faced with a problem I actually look for a solution before writing a review. When you receive this laser it may appear dim on first use, this is normal and means you have the multi-function diode and not the single function (which I ordered but e ded with a multi anyway, it is fine). To get the laser to brighten you need to unlock it, the process for which is explained in the item description (NOTE: A half press means pushing the power button in just till the beam turns off but not enough to click). If you want a good burning laser then choose one with less divergence (beam spread over distance) this laser has significant divergence and this effects the amount of power delivered to a location by dividing over the area covered. In short the finer the pin point of light the more energy delivered to that point, this is key to burning as you need to deliver more energy than can be dissipated in a given time; in this case your limit should be about Fifteen seconds to get a flame. The expander is a must with this product and an extra set of batteries (order 4, batteries not readily included) also get the dual charger if you do not already have one. Do not be alarmed if your batteries ship separately, this is due to batteries of certain power ratings not being allowed to ship by plane; they will likely be locally sourced. GET THE OD6 GOGGLES, not a suggestion as you will need them and they also help aim and pin point beam focus by actually being able to see the beam and not just the glare. Be sure to fully charge batteries prior to first use, should take about an hour. The beam is more concentrated than a one watt but not noticeably brighter, it will however deliver more power in less time and over a longer distance; still the divergence kills the longer distance burn. My one watt with the expander burns from farther away due to less divergence. I suppose this is decently detailed enough to be an informative review.

WOW!! Is all I can say.... Safe lasing as always my friends, esp. with this one! I have been away from the laser pointer scene for awhile, 10yrsm and then started watching YouTube videos and came across this monster!! Sanwu seemed to be the best company to purchase lasers from after doing some research online. After seeing other generic advertised way overspec'd outputs, I choose Sanwu, and haven't been disappointed!! This thing is powerful and the host is soooo solidly built! The duty cycle is short for this 7W output, but with the huge heatsink and head on this Striker series I believe you could use it longer cycles. Although I keep my duty cycles to the recommended use, im sure in time as I use it , being new, I will probably extend them! Divergence is as expected with these 445nm diodes, but its a thing of beauty!
I have bought several more wavelengths and different hosts styles (way to many for such a short time?!!!) and they are all such nice SOLID builds. No problems with any lasers yet?! Francis has been very helpful in resolving any matters! I am currently waiting on my order of the Sanwu laser power meter, looking forward to getting a look at the actual mw output of my lasers. Definitely worth the money if you are a laser enthusiast !!!!
