Pocket series

Love the pocket series, they're built really well and generally just made to last. That being said, the 455nm is just plain highway robbery. It is NOT 150mw as advertised, it's more like 30mw, and rhe color differencebetween it and a 445nm atleast to me is not that noticeable, you would probably be better off going with the 488 or 492nm

Got the 445nm 800mw, very impressed for its power!

I had ordered it on a Monday night and received it on the next Friday.I ordered the 492nm 100mw version. It is machined so well and the color is great. The beam is visible too! The only bad things I have to say about it is that it isn t aligned perfectly.Meaning the beam goes slightly to one side. Also it isn t a perfect little dot. It has some other light bleeding. I tried cleaning it but it s still the same. If I could give it a 4.9 I would. All thing set aside this company is great and I love there products.although it s a bit pricy it s worth it if your a laser nerd like me! thanks again!!!!

I have 6 Sanwu Strykers and these Pockets still impress me. Exceptional build quality and big power for being so small. These pictures show a 1600mw 405nm Stryker next to the Pocket 150mw 525nm and Pocket 500mw 445nm. Most important is the customer service that you will receive with these Sanwu products. You may never need it but if you do then rest assured that Francis with customer service will be there to help.

I received my lasers on Monday via DHL. Shipped on Friday (according to DHL) and got them Monday. Thank you very much for adhering to the timelineyou told me on producing the lasers and getting them to me. I have taken some amazing photos this week using up the Pocket lasers.. When I process them this weekend I will send you a few to check out. Again ,thanks!

It's my second laser and it's awesome !!! very good quality, will do more Shopping

I am absolutely estatic and you have a 30 year old feeling like a kid/Jedi! I have already had several of my regular customers praise it and new customers as well! The beam is bright and easily seen on most surfaces, even in sun! And it makes refferi g to product rather then pointing that much easier. I love the weight and feel of the laser, and notice it only gets warm if left on for a while. Otherwise it works well in both push button for a quick point or locking the button works just as well! Thanks again for making this happen, and being so patient with me in out emails! I will definitely be buying another laser! 5/5! Luke

Hey guys just wanted to tell you that you have made an excellent laser. I just received mine yesterday and I was blown away by its quality. The only thing is the electronic lock and other modes are hard to figure out on the pocket series. Sometimes it changes modes without me even pressing it five times to go back to normal. Otherwise it is outstanding and you definitely need safety glasses for anyone who is going to buy it, even in safety mode still where glasses unless star pointing or it can blind you even with a reflection. Great work! I will buy more lasers from here.

I am very well pleased with this laser. The quality is excellent. I will definately be buy an additional laser from Sanwu. Customer service has been very helpful. Thank you very much. Mark Kukich.

today I received my laser 492 nm and it is perfect, the shipment took much longer than expected "3 months", even so I will continue being a client I expect a 505nm or 635nm in the future ..... greetings from Mexico 💪

My Pocket 635nm 200mW arrived Yesterday. Used it today for the first time. It makes a very good and solid impression. Very low divergence and almost no corona around the point. I am very satisfied - thank you very much.

The worksmanship of the laser host is excellent as expected from Sanwu. My only gripe is that the button slightly protrudes beyond the base so it wobbles when stood up vertically, I hope this is just me getting one with tolerance issues. I absolutely love the 492nm color, pictures won't do justice for this beautiful wavelength! I recommend not getting the higher powered ones (more than 200mW) because even this 100mW laser warms up pretty quickly.

This is my first laser from this company and I am truly impressed! The time to ship was alright at 7 days and it took 2 days to get my laser from china to the USA, very impressive. The laser quality is phenomenal and I am still impressed they can fit a 1w blue diode into a host this small! Reviews on youtube said they received batteries with the pocket series but I didn't get a battery and I still don't have batteries. Quickly powering this up with a regular Triple A show it has a bright beam for a split second. I am happy with my purchase and I will purchase from Sanwu again in the future!

This thing is incredible. There’s no better way to put it. The beam is so visible and so focused. They went above and beyond with the pocket laser. The only issue I had was that I didn’t receive the battery I ordered along with the laser, but other than that I am 100% satisfied with it.

Will be buying again , im really greatfull that the item was sent un-labled due to nz conditions hoping to get a higher watt laser in the near future so will also need it the same so i can experience some more top of the line stuff, thanks for your awsome service guys much apreceated!

The craftsmanship is extremely high when you screw it tight you don't see detachment lines.. never seen such craftsmanship for laser.. i will definitely never buy again from other company than SANWU thank you

Today my pocket laser came in the mail. It works perfectly and i m very happy, thanks:). Unfortunately the batteries i ordered were not included. Maybe something got mixed up, there was also a wrong name written on the parcel and i had to clarify that with DHL.

I ordered a pocket a little while back in the 445nm 500mw variant. Shipping took a while but it was due to Covid restrictions in China so I can’t complain there. Assembly was about 7 days and once it did get shipped, that too was quick at about 7 days to Australia. Batteries were sent separately but i did get 2 and a dual charger although only ordering 1 so again, can’t complain at all. Onto the laser itself, the build quality is excellent, its so small but still heavy, you can’t see the spots where it unscrews for focusing/putting batteries in. Its very bright and honestly astonishing since the housing is so small. The color is a very nice blue and not purple like some videos or pictures may suggest, battery life is somewhat short but that’s really to be expected due to the tiny size and high power output. The duty cycle should be followed as it does heat up somewhat quickly, I went with usually about 30s on 30s off but what able to push that up to 45s. The beam alignment is perfect and divergence is low. Overall this is an amazing laser especially at its price point, would certainly recommend Sanwu Lasers and will likely be purchasing more. Customer service too was excellent.

I did the research on the company and the lasers and I was not disappointed. The laser build quality and performance is supreme, would recommend 110% and the delivery was quick so I'll definitely be buying from here again

Finally bought the batteries myself and tested the laser and it is just amazing. Beam is visible during the day and at long distances too. The laser has such a small size, truly incredible. Good job SANWU

does the 445nm blue 800mw laser work at long ranges

Arrived early, excellent quality as always, just perfect craftsmanship. Francis was very professional in any questions I had, all 3 lasers worked perfectly, all the colours are brilliant. I'm waiting for my two other lasers I ordered. Great products as always thanks Sanwu.

This has Incredibly low beam divergence and high visibility. At over 50 feet, the dot seems to not be discernibly different. And in broad daylight I was surprised that I could see it on a red painted fence about 30 feet away. I expected this to be great. It is better than expected.

This is my first laser purchase from Sanwu and it is truly a work of art. Imagine discovering an alien artefact, a piece of exotic unearthly technology, this was my fist impression of this finely machined stainless steel Pocket laser. You cannot feel nor see the seams and joins and don’t be fooled by how small it is, it has weight to it and despite taking only one very small 10440 li-ion battery it packs a terrific punch. Dealing with Sanwu is also as seamless as their products are crafted, Francis was very attentive and kindly and very quickly replied to any questions and queries that I had, both during and after the order process. I’ll be making another purchase with Sanwu very soon to add to my collection. 10/10!

Thank you team for this amazing product, you sent me.the customer service team are very co operative,i ll give 9/10 points.

I picked up the 525nm green, 150mw. Gorgeous build quality, the seams for the threaded portion are so precise you can't see them unless you unscrew either the lens or battery cap. The color and beam are wonderful, smooth focusing and all. With a laser as small as this, it's an impressive package.

I got the 505nm one and its beautiful and tiny, I made a review on it on LPF where I describe it in more detail and pictures. https://laserpointerforums.com/f52/sanwu-pocket-505nm-30mw-review-pics-102350.html

Ocne again Francis has excelled in his excellent work with this item. It was shipped on this Tuesday morning and arrived today, excellent quality and excellent customer service the 445nm 800mw is my 6th pocket laser in my collection and I have various other lasers from sanwu, all beautifully crafted and very well presented. Thanks again Francis for your time and efforts, looking forward to placing new orders.

Extraordinario, valio la pena la espera!!! Pronto añadiré más laser a mi colección

I got the 150mw royal blue and it's the incredible. I love this company.

In my university days, I always wanted an Argon laser because I thought the 488nm beam was the most beautiful blue there could ever be. Unfortunately Argon lasers are huge, unwieldly, and expensive. Imagine now I can have a high output pointer in that exact wavelength in my hand. It's a dream come true! Amazing blue, surprising power. Usually 50mW is the threshold from melting to scorching or burning. At 60mW, this blue beauty doesn't disappoint. When the beam is focused to a fine point (about 10-15cm away) the beam will show a large blue circle at distance. The focusing head will be about 1-2 mm out. Objects held within the focus point will smoke fairly quickly if there is any darkness to them at all. It burnt through a mailing envelope in less than 1 second where there was black ink. Left nice neat pin holes. When the focus is screwed all the way down (the way it is shipped) the beam was about 2-3mm in diameter, but showed relatively little divergence over 10's of meters. It does get warm quickly, so yes, I would keep to a 30sec on and 30sec off duty cycle. The metal housing does it's job. The CNC work on the casing is impressive. I couldn't even see the seam near the focusing head until I used a jeweler's loupe. This is a real bad boy toy that will let you carve your initials into things in executive style. :-)

Fit and finish is a work of art. Performance is well beyond my expectations. Customer service was excellent as well. Francis answered my emails promptly. Thank you! I will recommend Sanwu 100% George

Laser body is nice colors are perfect the 492 is cyan with a very slight hint of green and the 505 is mint with a slight hint of blue these are my favorite Only problem I had is on the 505 when the laser is on the button rattles but overall I give this a 9.1/10 although for me the problem is the shipping I ordered the 492 on may 30 it was aug 24 when I received this and I paid $10 for Hong Kong post on my other laser the 505 it took 1 month to get the laser and I paid $40 for shipping it took from July 4 to July 26 To get the laser I give the shipping a 3.2/10 but overall I still love the product I plan to get a guardian laser soon

I do not typically write reviews but for Sanwu I will make an exception. I had a question before purchasing and Francis was very prompt, professional and courteous in his response. Based on that I went ahead and ordered. I am very pleased with the quality of my Pocket laser. I will be ordering more from Sanwu in the future and recommending them to my coworkers. This is an unsolicited review.

Actually bought it for a gift but I'm keeping it haha. Quick shipment didn't expect it that fast. Slapped a lanyard on it. Tried to use a clip I had from a (olight) but just shy of working. A little hoslter for this bad boy and it will be road ready. Ps, the color is way better in person, very smooth finish and I kinda like it without the sawnu logo too. So a hoslter with yalls logo on it would be a hit for me.

I ordered the Pocket Laser at 60mw, 488nm, it is beautiful. A work of art, the build construction is perfect. Elegant, reminds me of Ghostess. 5 Stars.

This is my first 492nm laser. I also purchased the Silver 1600mW @ 525nm (which blew me away… but make sure your 18650 batteries are protected and 70mm not 65mm for this unit). As for the pocket….. it’s legit an absurdly wonderful laser. It’s TINY!! absolutely tiny. And yet 100mW @ 492nm produces a beautiful cyan beam that would have been absolutely impossible when I was younger and first became interested in lasers. I will post beamshots in a subsequent review… but until then…. 5 stars!!!

My first Sanwu laser was the 445nm 500 mW, such a fine laser I later purchased a 493nm truly a joy! I then got a 573nm and last a golden 593nm 20mW actually a good deal above rated output! I can trust this is the best portable laser company for quality and long life.

Brought the 200mw bright red with the beam expander, it does not dissapoint. Looks like its definatly 200mw compared to those cheap ebay pointers. I love it

Simplemente extraordinarios, pronto añadiré más ami colección!!

bought the 505nm back in 2019 and it has continued to work flawlessly so it gets a additional praise for lasting this long truly a testament to the build quality

Back in 2020 i’ve bought a 1.6w guardian but unfortunately lost it, 3 years later i decided to buy one of there pocket laser. I didn’t expect much, so i ordered 3 weeks later i heard sanwu was on vacation. So they compromised it with 5-6 days shipping upgrade so thats nice. Today i received the laser and oh wow such power in such a small host, if you wanna pick up your first laser i recommend there pocket lasers. Super easy to handle and super bright, thanks francis for the great advice and support. And thank you team sanwu for the great quality!

I have a noname green laser pointer, which is almost as powerful as this, but it's a lot bigger, plus it's everything but reliable... The Sanwu Pocket is a masterpiece, it's so small and lovable - it's my first Sanwu product, but certainly not the last! :))

There's just no other option if you want a compact, high quality laser. The build quality is very good. I did notice on the two lasers pocket series that I ordered the tube does seem to curve slightly in where the head meets the body. The seams disappear when tightened all the way but there's an ever so slight curve in. At least it feels that way. I have to ask my friends if they can see/feel it, or if I am crazy. Either way, it's nothing that would discourage me from buying another, and I plan to! I bought the 488nm (60mW) for my dad for Father's day and the 492nm (100mW) for myself. I wish they had the 488nm in 100mW. I much prefer the 488nm color, but I like the beam visibility and brightness of the 492nm more. I'd probably still go with the 492nm just because while it's more green it's still an amazing color. In the future I'd love to see an 18650 version of this light as small as possible! Obviously it won't be pocket series small but I'd love the extra battery life.

I am very impressed with the quality of the laser Hopefully I can buy some more soon. Can't believe how small the laser is until I got it.

Good power. Nice purchase.

Priced right and seams are almost non existent. Very bright and love the 492 color

Very good quality laser. The gap between the lens holder and the host is nearly invisible. The beam is visible at night in normal conditions. 11/10 points

I just received my 4th Pocket laser. It's perfect and superb just like the other 3. Very well built in one of my favorite metals stainless steel. These are so cool and pack a lot of heat for the size. You guys are great, thank you!

I had a very poor experience with this company and currently fighting and spending a lot of time with my CC to get my refund, even though I have returned all the items, and it was confirmed received. First the delivery times are very poor, over month and a half while they charge you premium shipping, no tracking, or updates unless you reach out and ask. Second quality of all my lasers were very poor, I joked to myself that they look like AliExpress items and low and behold they are. I searched and found them which means they are probably placing orders from there while the customer is waiting which is why it took so long for delivery. They don’t even have the decency to brand it their own which AliExpress gives you the option to do so its blatantly obvious it’s the exact same bulk item. The only laser in my large order that was somewhat decent as far as build quality, the Pocket series came damaged with a very bad pointer. It took a few emails and pushing hard to even get them a respond to my inquiry. It felt like I was fighting to state my case when the picture clearly shows the issues. I would get ignored and finally they only wanted to give a partial refund. I am extremely disappointed as I had many chats with them and waiting a long time to invest my money before placing the order. The impression given to me was that these were specialized items that were custom made with exotic features when they are not. Most of those positive reviews and YouTube videos I suspect are ma

I received my blue 445nm 800mw pocket laser, after trying it out, I must say, that I was completely floored! This laser was a powerful one: It light up my entire bedroom, I was able to light a match with it. I am in awe of this pocket laser, love it.

Was slightly wary ordering from here at first because of it being a Chinese site. I received my order after around two weeks (delivered to Scotland) and I can't say I'm anything less than amazed. The pocket laser is far smaller than expected and is machined so perfectly you can barely see a single seam on the lense or battery cap. When focused properly, it lights matches in under a second and the beam is viable even during the day. A small instructions booklet would have been nice though as I was totally unaware that there were different modes on the device in til I seen it mentioned on another review. If you're considering ordering one, do it. Reasonable price yet they laser out-performed my expectations.

I have collected a few lasers over the past year and this is by far the best. The craftsman ship is outstanding. I will be ordering again!

I purchased a 445 nm 800 mw pocket laser and have to say that this is the best one I ve ever had. The product quality is top grade heavy duty and the craftsmanship is amazing these really are top grade laser products. I am not disappointed and will be purchasing more lasers from these guys for sure.

Another amazing laser from Sanwu. I have purchased numerous unites from Sanwu over the last 4-5 years and never had a single problem, this time around the tail switch was faulty and came out. Sanwu very quickly and kindly came to the rescue and sent me a new plastic button switch to insert into the stainless tail section. One dab of superglue, a firm push in with the end of a pencil and boooom - the laser worked a treat! Great unit and thanks for working with me to fix this very minor issue. Very happy indeed! :)

This laser is everything I dreamed it would be. I got the 150mw 525nm green version. It is super bright. It almost rivals the brightness of a 1 watt blue laser. But kudos goes to Sanwu for the host. It is absolutely tiny which I was stoked about. About a centimeter longer than a maglite solitaire but the diameter is about the same. It takes a 10440 and the output is extremely stable. The focus on this thing is as perfect as can be. Let's see what else, the threads are super smooth. It does get hot fast but only because it's small. I was actually impressed with the battery life. The A.R. coated lens is high quality. Overall I'm impressed with this laser. I will definitely buy more of them in the future in different wavelengths.

Very small and very powerful for its size! Cyan wavelengths are looks very nice and blue/violet are very powerful. Stone washed housing is very nice and i noticed the button isn't loose anymore so it does makes that clicky sound when you shake it. Very nice laser!

▶I was looking for a light weight, small but powerful laser. The Pocket is flawless and very fine crafted, simply it looks and feels awesome. The blue beam powered by 800mW is superb, you can see it even under a broad light from the Sun, at night the brightness is no less than amazing. It's a must to having spare batteries to may enjoy longer. Conclusion: Recommended ( ^_^ ) Rick Stylus

This little thing packs a punch! I got the 500mW 445nm version. The beam is very tight and easily focusable. I think the build quality is better than any other product I have. I can't notice the separation between the tailcap and the body when screwed in. It feels heavy in the hand, about 55 grams with a battery. The battery is not included, you can find them on Amazon. My one complaint is that the switch cover moves around when it is on, like the button for a ball point pen.

Wow, Francis. This thing is the tiniest laser i've ever held. It is much smaller than it seems on the picture. But it has the weight. And it looks stunning, no-one would know that it even unscrews because the joins are practically invisble. And the power. For the size, this thing is very powerful and amazes everyone who sees it. I can't thank you enough for making this thing, Francis. And your customer service is as good as your lasers. Will be making another purchase from you in the very near future.

Good power. Nice purchase.

I am very satisfied with the Pocket Series 405nm (Violet) 500mW laser. The laser looks excellent in person and feels very premium and solid. The machining quality, materials, and finish are outstanding, and the overall build feels extremely durable and well made. The 405nm violet beam is very sharp and bright, with excellent performance and smooth focusing. The compact Pocket design makes it very practical while still feeling powerful and high quality. Shipping and packaging were also very professional, and the laser arrived safely. Overall, this is an excellent product and another great experience with Sanwu Lasers. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality compact violet laser.
